Hero MotoCorp has commenced the deliveries of its most-powerful motorcycle ever in India. The manufacturer recently posted pictures of the first batch of Mavrick 440 being delivered to customers on its X handle. Pawan Munjal, the executive chairman of MotoCorp handed over the bikes to customers at the Hero Premia outlet and a specially-curated event in Gurugram.
With the Mavrick 440, the company has marked its entry in the mid-capacity segment. It is based on the same platform as the Harley-Davidson X440 which made its debut last year. This motorcycle is available in three variants – base, mid and top. The base variant starts at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and features a white paint scheme with spoke wheels and tubed tyres. The mid-variant, priced at Rs 2.14 lakh, gets a sportier look with alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, and comes in Celestial Blue and Fearless Red colour schemes.

The top-of-the-line trim priced at Rs 2.24 lakh rides on diamond-cut alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres, and gets a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth smartphone connectivity for navigation, message alerts, and calls.
Powering the Mavrick 440 is the familiar 440cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine churning out 27.3 hp and 36 Nm of torque. All variants come with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.
The much-anticipated bike broke the covers at Hero World Day 2024 held at CIT, Jaipur in January. Customers can book the Mavrick 440 at authorized Hero MotoCorp dealerships or digitally by visiting the company’s official website.
